More immigration doesn't mean more crimes

There is no clear evidence that having more immigrants equates to more crimes, according to a new study.

H-1B Cap Count for FY 2013 as of April 20, 2012

The USCIS has issued an updated H-1B cap count for fiscal year 2013.  As of April 20th, 25,000 of 65,000 visas available under the "regular" cap have been used, while 10,900 of 20,000 have been used under the "master's cap".

As of April 16 (the latest available data from USCIS), 47,600 of 65,000 visas were still available in the "regular" quota (for individuals with bachelor's degrees or equivalent). 10,300 of 20,000 visas still remained in the "master's" quota (for individuals with master's degrees or higher.
