VAWA Family Members
Unlike other family-based petitions, immediate relative children of VAWA self-petitioners may be included in the parent's self-petitioner as derivative beneficiaries. Note that derivatives do not have approved petitions themselves and therefore either must file self-petitions or otherwise show independently that they are eligible for adjustment of status.
