Transferring Schools
Students on a F-1 visa are allowed to transfer schools as long as certain conditions are met:
A. A student is currently attending full-time and continues to be full-time upon transferring;
B. Applicant is financially able to attend the transfer school;
C. Applicant begins classes at transfer school within 5 months of transferring or within 5 months of program completion date;
D. The student has requested that the current school transfer his/her SEVIS records to the new school and a new I-20 has been issued to the applicant from the school the student wishes to transfer into
