A native of Chiba, Japan,Aiko Kurita is an active volunteer in the Chicago Japanese community. Aiko spent many vacations in Chicago as a high school student visiting her father who served as the president of a Japanese company based in Itasca. She moved to Chicago in 2004 to study English after gaining valuable experience in an array of disciplines while living in Japan. Aiko is our Japanese translator and liaison to Japanese community. She has a degree in Japanese from Japan College of Foreign Language in Tokyo, Japan.
