It's Lottery Time Again!Posted on Tuesday, September 20, 2011
We are pleased to announce the arrival of the 2013 Diversity Visa Lottery! Entry into the lottery begins at noon on Tuesday October 4, 2011 and ends at noon on Tuesday November 5, 2011. Persons currently waiting for priority dates to become current may wish to enter DV2013, since this application does not conflict with a pending case and may be processed more quickly.
The purpose of the diversity visa lottery program is to diversify the U.S. immigrant population by granting permanent residence to aliens of countries with a low rate of immigration to the U.S.
For 2013, 50,000 diversity visas will be available.
