Entering the 2018 DV Lottery
The 2018 DV Lottery opened on October 4, 2016 and closes on November 7, 2015. Selectees will be notified in early May of 2017 and those who qualify must complete their visa processing by the end of September 2017.
For the sith year in a row, natives of Poland are eligible for the lottery, and Ecuador is now participating.
Please note that it is the applicant’s country of birth rather than country of nationality that governs eligibility for the diversity visa program. This year, those born in the following countries are not eligible for the lottery:
