Entering the 2019 DV Lottery
The 2019 DV Lottery opens on October 3, 2017 and closes on November 7, 2017. Selectees will be notified in early May of 2018 and those who qualify must complete their visa processing by the end of September 2019.
Please note that it is the applicant’s country of birth rather than country of nationality that governs eligibility for the diversity visa program. This year, those born in the following countries are not eligible for the lottery:
