Difficult EB-1A Approved

Our client had developed a major software package from scratch for her distinguished public health employer. She had an approved EB-2 PERM case but, as she was an Indian national, the wait to file for adjustment was lengthy. Therefore, she approached us to explore gaining admittance in the EB-1A category, which we knew would be challenging. As we expected, the government sent a lengthy RFE regarding our client’s leadership role in the software development project, its impact in the field, and our client’s contribution to her fourth-and fifth-authored publications. We worked intensely with the client’s references in federal and regional government to draft strong support letters and used all available information to draft a specific response to each of the adjudicator’s requests. Finally, we showed how and why our client has sustained acclaim in her field. Fortunately, the USCIS officer adjudicating the case saw it our way and approved the petition.
